Record based notification

I have a database that keeps track of certain actions, if completed YES is selected in the YES/NO option field.

How can I let FM let me know which records actions have NO value?

Use a radio button field instead of a checkbox, and show both YES and NO. If both are blank...

But if you need to do a search I guess you'll need a regular field to search on, unless the search is scripted.

Actually if you copy a value to the clipboard (including the = sign to represent "empty") and then in Find Mode* click onto a checkbox or radiobutton formatted field and paste, you can thereby enter strings other than those provided by the value list.

You still might want a regular field somewhere, since that's a bit of a cumbersome workabound.

* or Browse Mode for that matter, as some developers have eventually discovered to their dismay
