rcharamella
I've got some scripts that print open and print multiple layouts. They work without a hitch on a MAC but on a PC they throw the following error: "Print has been canceled. Do you wish to continue with this script?" It's a filemaker error box. Here's what the script looks like Go to layout [layout name here] Print Setup[dialog, etc] Print[dialog, etc] Go to layout [layout name here] Print Setup[dialog, etc] Print[dialog, etc] Any way to stop the error? Thanks,
David Head
So at what point does the error come up? Probably just after the user clicks the Cancel button on the Print dialog. It should do a similar thing if the user clicks the Cancel button on a Print Setup dialog. It should also do the same on a Mac. Strange if it does not. And FWIW, it is not an error. The solution would be to add a script step at the start of your script: Allow User Abort [Off].
rcharamella
It comes up after the script runs Print Setup the second time. I have not seen it yet on my Mac. When it comes up at all it's when the computer is connect to a Novell print server. If I print directly to a printer I don't get the message. Ideas?
