Field for search keywords... possible?

I'm currently making a database of training videos and each video has a list of topics covered. What I would like to do is create something to make searches a little easier by using that list of topics covered.

 

So my question is would it be possible to create some kind of field of key terms which could be entered as criteria for a search? Sort of like the way metadata works for searches in other apps.

Yes see your templates folder , one or two files in it that uses keywords.
