importing all records (beyond found set)

I've never had this problem before, but rather then importing the current found set of records, the import is bringing in all of the records from the FM8 db?

I have. Being a relative newbie to the Fm8 world, I just shrugged and assumed that was the new "normal" behavior for importing in the brave new world of FileMaker, and exported the desired found set to a new FileMaker file and then imported that. But maybe there's an option we're both missing that lets you switch modes from import all to import found set or something?

 

Under what circumstances did you "never have this problem before"? Have you previously been able to import just the found set when working in FileMaker 8? FileMaker 7?

If the source file is closed or has multiple windows open, it will import all records, otherwise it will import the found set.
