Display Record Creator

I have searched for this but am not really finding anything that I can get to work. All I need to do is to display the Account Name of the record creator. The field can not be modified.

 

Unfortunately I did not create the database or the forms. I kind of came in last minute and am trying to catch up on Filemaker (a bit different from PHP or VB )

 

Can someone point me in the right direction as to what I would need to readup on or do to just display the Account name of the record creator that is not modifiable?

You would need to have defined a field to hold that information. The field should be a text field with the Auto-Enter Creation option of "Account Name".

 

With the field defined, you can add it to the layout using the Insert Field menu command or tool from the status bar.
