Error opening database

I'm having a problem with my database... it is hosted on a server and opening up fine from there. But, it hasn't backed up for the past couple of days. I closed the database on the server, then copied it to my pc and attempted to open it up. I receive the following error (before it even asks me for a username/password):

 

"The access privileges in this file have been damaged or possibly tampered with. Please contact FileMaker Technical Support if the problem cannot be resolved".

 

I can't seem to open it up. Has anyone ever seen this problem before?

 

Any help would be appreciated!

To add insult to injury, I can't open the file back up on the server now! So, the file is corrupt, but I'm not sure how to go about recovering it (unfortunately, my last good backup is 7/28/06 - because it hasn't been backing up since the corruption)...
