Scripting a print job creates errors

I have several scripts that working fine in Filemaker 6, but no longer work in filemaker 8. Basically, it selects a correct layout, goes there, prints the page, and then moves on to another one. The problem I have is that when the scripted print (which I do without dialogue) pops up, it immediately says "Print cancelled". If I do it manually, or with a dialoque, this does not happen.

 

Any ideas? I've tried building pauses before and after, but nothing seems to fix it.

It could be that during file conversion the print settings were lost. Try redefning the script step. Otherwise, try rebuilding the script entirely.
