Finding non-matching records in a script

Hi all

 

I seem to be having a problem with scripting this....

 

I need to search all records where the name in "commission name" "M Smith" and return them.

 

If I do this manually by clicking the omit tick box, no problem - but I cant suss it out within the script.

 

HELP!

I have tried that, it just returns all the "M Smith"'s

ignore me, I put the omit before the perform find Opps!

I really need some help on this guys.

 

Like I said in my first post, i can easily do a manual find and click "Omit", but I really just cant get the script to do the same thing.

 

I just need to find all records (within the script) where the field "commission name" is NOT "M Smith"

 

Can anyone shed some light on this??
