People Finder with YellowBook.com

Hello to all,

 

Attached is a small database I created to search and extract a person's or company information from yellowbook.com.

 

All you need to do is enter the First Name, Last Name and City to search by name or the phone number of a person or company to find a person's or company's information. Once you have entered the information click on the little search icon and then select one of the matching records from the web viewer window. You can then click on the "Extract info" button to see how the database extracts the information from the website and inputs it into Filemaker fields.

 

Limitations:

You must have the new Filemaker 8.5 for this feature to work

There must be results for every search, or you will extract nothing.

If the website changes its current design, this database may no longer work.
