Had a client that when they go to www.onholdcompany.com and click on the link at the top that says Client Door they get the below error when doing it with firefox. I am trying to log onto the On Hold website to submit our script and when I click on Client Door, I get this message: The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. ____________ What could be the issue?

I am setting up a database and accommodating a few different ways to access it. I have a few scripts for importing that jump between windows whilst importing, and I also have a type of audit log on some layouts to capture fields changes. What I am wondering (As I do not yet have FM Server to test) is can you freeze a screen whilst in a script? My Audit script captures the contents of a field as a variable with OnobjectEnter and compares them with the contents captured as a variable with OnObjectExit, if they are different, the screen is frozen whilst going to the Log Table and recording the change. Below is the code im using in a set web viewer script step to set a webviewer to play audio in webdirect. It works great when clicking buttons set up with different audio streaming url links to play different audio in chrome and safari but Internet Explorer 11 that i have and probably all versions of IE it will not play. I have using Filemaker Server 13 and designed my databases in Filemaker Pro 13 Advanced. While connecting to the server through web direct through the internet , I am getting excessive refresh screens . When I tab from field to field or go from record to record, it stops to refresh for about 10 seconds with around 5 distinct refresh operations where I see the little circle thing while the screen goes grey. Same thing happens when I click anywhere on screen and aso while entering data into portals . This occurs only on the internet . Web direct on our LAN (intranet) works perfectly fine . Wow, so we have working menus in WebDirect! Hey that's quite clever! Now my web based users can click the Scripts menu and run scripts, can go to the Layouts menu and navigate to any non-hidden layout in the system, can export records, duplicate records, well well well, this is at least as much fun as when FileMaker 6 gave us Find & Replace aka Search and Destroy. But no biggie, I can just use that new FileMaker 13 script command, Show/Hide MenuBar (with the "hide" option of course) and then, vóila, no worries, right? I want to hide some text if the user is logged in via web direct. I set "Hide object when" to Get ( ApplicationVersion ) = "Web Publishing" no matter how I play with this it doesn't work. hi there, although I did a lot of searching, nobody seems to have my kind of problem... Working with Filemaker Pro Advanced 13.v3 and Filemaker Server... When viewing a solution using WebDirect, PNG graphics in a container field are not scaled but being cropped... Is this a known bug, is there any solution to this? ... Further testing revealed... this seems to happen apply only to container fields with a border thickness of 0.25... janko

We've got a fairly large user base running on IWP and have a new FMS 13 running and the same database (for that matter just about any database) running on WebDirect seems unusable. Anyone else starting to hate it? We thought maybe the problem was using a FM11 database that had been migrated so we created a starter solution database and just made that available only to find that just moving between records is unbearable. Our server is Windows 2012/32MB RAM over gigabit LAN. Anyone have any better results or insights into what might be slowing things down? Seems like a major feature change to be such a performance downgrade.

Ok so I have finally started messing with WebDirect (WD) and quickly found out that Pop Overs don't seem to work if File is not native 13. I converted an employee file to to 13 from 11 and a whole load of new pop overs. they work in client side cool. I enable WebDirect , log on via the browser everything looks cool. Until I click on the pop overs. NO WORKIE. NO GOOD. So I think there is something wrong with WD. reconfigure the server and the works , same problem. Next I have a brand new file in the works called Forms Console, which also has POP Overs built in 13 ... Guess what they WORK. Did I find a bug or am I just ignorant to the problem of it not work…

We have FileMaker 13 running on Windows 2012. To recreate the problem: 1. Create a script called Email Test with a single script step: Send Mail [send via SMTP Server; No dialog; To: "you@domain.com"; Subject; "Testing"; Message: "Just testing."] 2. Create a layout with a single button on it calling this script. 3. Open the layout in FileMaker Pro and click the button... get the email. 4. Open the layout in WebDirect and click the button... get "The connection was refused by the SMTP server." We've tried ports 25, 2525, 465, 587. We've tried connection encryption none, SSL, TLS. Same script step running in IWP on FileMaker 11 works fine. What's happened?

Sorry if this is a duplicate post for some people, I'm still desperately trying to resolve this issue. I’m struggling with understanding exactly what will work with FMPS13 WebDirect wise. I have a fairly large FMPS12A deployment (~150 active users at any time), and a handful of IWP clients as well. We are an all Microsoft house, with all users at Windows-7. I've just put my first FM WebDirect database online. For testing purposes, I have set up File Options->Script Triggers->OnWindowOpen to run a script containing one line: Go To Record/Request/Page[Last] Running inside FileMaker Pro Advanced, this works perfectly. But running in WebDirect, accessed through a web browser, it appears to have no effect. What am I missing? Thanks very much in advance to all for any info!

Hi, I am trying to export the field content (a container field) via a button. When I click the button in webdirect the browser (after enabling pop up for the site) tries to download the field content but with no extention. Files are PDF files. OK, I setup a thumbnail contact book for a company. I have two questions 1] Why is Internet Explorer up take up to 5 seconds to act on your click, where as Google Chrome is almost instant? 2] Pictures and information come from the master employee file. If this is indeed as I read it, this is going to make testing a challenge, to say nothing of small installs that used FMPro and IWP prior. I don't have a copy of FMS, but use client servers to do this work. Now if I want to do WebDirect development, I need to beg some space/access on a former client's server, I guess. I was hoping to continue to development and test locally, webDirect, just as was allowed in IWP. So I now need to cough up $1044 plus $29 a month, for a development environment? So web direct is pretty cool, but unless there are ways to scrape inbound links for information (I.e. $_POST() & $_GET() superglobals in PHP) then it is going to be pretty difficult to set up automated authentication systems with WebDirect. WebDirect obviously can do this, as proven by the &lay=, &viewstyle=, &record=, &mode= that is included with the default themes, but does anybody know if we can we inject our own custom data points into links and load them into WebDirect?
