Monotype Corsiva type installed, used in label, shows correctly in view, but printing ? Helvetica?

I have Monotype Corsiva font installed properly on my system Win 7 Pro and have that as an item on a label. Everything looks O.K. in the View mode, however, I get a printout that looks sans-serif (?Helvetica?) How do I get this set up in FM Pro Ver 11 to print the Monotype Corsiva?

My database have 5 fields - A,B,C,D, E These fields contain numbers from 1 to 50 in combinations of 5 numbers in each record, Example; First Record: 2-21-22-45-47 Record 1100; 14-19-32-34-40 and so on My aim: In Find Mode, enter 15 numbers to get all records with 3 numbers ( from those 15 numbers) that match Thank you very much for your help

Trying to import a date field that is in YYYY/MM/DD format into a custom date field defined the same way and I end up with question marks in all of the date fields. How do I fix this?

I have a wine website that I use FMPro to build my content. Every year I add a new vintage so I duplicate my current year (2020) then add 2021. When I click the "Insert Text" step FMPro dings as though I did something wrong (there is no dialog box) then I can't do anything else until I hit "esc" key. I have tried recreating the script but when I 'insert text' it does it again. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks Neil

i ave 3 tables:stock-[, stock transactions, -[option transactions. my lo is based on stock. there is a tab object on the lo. on ta, with portal for eac transaction table, problems: if i go from browse to edit and back i loose the records in the stock transactions portal. ????? but if i go to a lo based on stock transactions and view in list format, the records are there??? and the summary fields sum_bt_proceeds and sum _sld proceeds don't work. got any ideas about this? thank you.... ron _stoxNoptions Copy.fmp12

My habit is to log on to a URL that automatically fetches the new posts and read the ones that interest me. In the modern incarnation of FmCafe I log on to "New Activity" / "Unread Posts". I noticed this week that every time I log in on with my iPad, I get a notification in my email "You just logged in from a device we haven't seen you use before". Same iPad, same PW, been using this iPad and logging onto the websites since I joined. Didnt see any way to turn off this notification. Steve

I'm wondering if I have a local setting or a browser choice (Safari 11.1) that would cause it, or if it's this way for everyone, but this site loads like it's hosted on a Quadra with 64 MB RAM and a 375 MB HD. Or is being inundated by four and a half million concurrent users and can't keep up with the traffic.

We just did an upgrade and as always with upgrades something gets twisted! In this case our search box...we are aware of it and it will be normal soon. It still works! ? Also a heads up that we are moving our offices to Aspen CO and it may be difficult to reach us until Mon Apr 30, 2018.

Just a heads up that we have changed the format of many forums from discussion to questions. It does not have any impact with the exception of the forum layout. You will also notice a tab for questions without an answer. Anyone can answer these questions...show us your stuff.

Custom import order

I have a script that includes a step to import an Excel sheet using "Custom Order." When I run the script using Script Debugger, the option has changed to "Last Order" and the items are now in the incorrect order. Any ideas on why this is happening? Also, I'd like to check the "Don't import first record (contains field names)" checkbox but it's grayed out. That's no biggie as I can just remove the first line. I would like to retain the custom order, though.

I think, unless I'm really having a bad day, I encountered some odd behavior in the Custom Function thread. The latest post, doesn't appear when I go to the Forum or sub Forum. I can only see it when I click directly on it. I tried refreshing windows, just in case. Hopefully the screen shots may help. screenshots.pdf

The "Best of Filemakertoday [FAQ]" thread has some (many?) links that seem to link to the wrong thread, like "Basic Relationship Setup" or "Adding values to a list".

I have a network printer (Zebra gx420t) that has a built in server. I can call the printer's url in a webviewer. Within the webviewer I can go to the label stored on the printer and print from within the webviewer. Once it is printed the page defaults to the home page of the url. This is as close as I can get to printing to the printer from within FM Go. (I can use app called mobi Print but too much delay and screen flash). I would prefer seamless printing from within FM Go. Can I use a script to push a data file to the printer to recall the label with my variable data pulled from my database? or Can a script push variable information to the url page with variables from …

email address banned?

I received a password expired notice when I tried logging into the forum this evening. When I tried changing my password, I received a notice saying that the administrator has banned my email address. I had to enter a new email address in order to change my password. Since I used the alternative email account rarely, I'd rather restore my former -- banned -- email address to my forum account. Anyone know why 1) I received that message and 2) whether I can use that old email address again without being banned permanently. I never received any message indicating that any post of mine was controversial or unacceptable. Very strange.

Just a quick note to everyone that anything posted "questions, answers and memberships" here on late Fri evening 2/28/14, Sat 3/1/14 and yesterday 3/2 of last week will be missing and if you want it on the forums will need to be re-posted.
